Career highlights past and present

An Orlando, Florida-based stand-up comedian with more than three decades of experience, Robert Hawkins has been featured on late-night shows, including Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and has performed at a variety of venues throughout the United States. He has worked in comedy clubs as well as at colleges, corporate events and military bases. Comedian Robert Hawkins was a Chico Finalist at the San Francisco Comedy Competition and won the Comedy Competition at California State University.

Robert Hawkins also leveraged his joke writing skills as a writer, story editor, and actor on the Fox sitcom Titus from 2000 to 2002. He has additional experience in comedy as an instructor with the Comedy Defensive Driving School and doorman with Improvisation, both in Dallas.

Before pursuing comedy, he worked as a parts handler at E-Systems. He also spent three years as a medic in the US Army and earned the Army Achievement Medal and Army Commendation Medal. His extracurricular interests include watching sports, playing golf, and mountain biking.
